A user friendly GUI is provided for the venue owner to perform the initial setup and define the Wi-Fi Internet service charge option.
To purchase a Wi-Fi internet access account, end users with wireless-enabled laptops or PDAs need only to insert coins and press the confirm button. After the purchase is made, a ticket is printed detailing their Internet access account. These details include
-Account username and password
-Account purchase date and time
-Account expiry date and time
-Access duration
-Wi-Fi ESSID
The end users can log in to their recently purchased Internet access account via a standard browser. After the paid time has elapsed, the end user's Internet access is automatically disconnected and the account is deleted.
